Make Crystal Columns

In the previous experiment, I already posted about How to Grow Crystals with Easy Step. Now, I will post more crystal fun. This experiment takes several days to work, so you must patient.
And this is what you need to prepare :
2 glass jars
washing soda and a spoon
4 lengths of wool each about 35 cm long, twisted together to make a thick string
hot water
a large old plate

And this is the step by step :
Fill 2 jars with very hot water..please be careful we the hot water….
Stir in lots of washing soda, and stirring it in until no more disappear in the water.
Now, put the 2 jars somewhere warm, where they will not be moved
Put the plate between them.
Drop the ends of the wool hangs over the plate.
Now after a few days…the columns will meet in the middle.

Easy Bird Papercraft

  • You need to choose the books that have lots of colorful pictures, illustrations and large letters for children to read. Try to assign books according to their age groups so that children can cope with their learning levels. Young children have instant liking to books they easily recognize. When I was kid, my mom always read the cool story before I sleep. The book is funny and colorful, makes me want to read it myself, so I don’t need to wait my mom to read the book for me.

Make a Gas Cannon

Make a gas canon is one easy science experiment that you can do at home with your children. For this experiment you will need :

  1. a small glass bottle with a tightly fitting cork
  2. baking soda
  3. vinegar
  4. a piece of paper
  5. water

Now this is step by step :
Put some baking soda into bottle
Dip the cork in water to make it very wet.
Pour some vinegar into the bottle and push in the cork as quickly as you can.
And…Stand Back…!!! The cork will Pop Out!!!

This papercraft is easy and simple. I believe your kids can make it themselves. The pdf file was on Dutch because this file from Nickelodeon.nl.
